ADVANCED Information Marketing Bhd's (AIM) subsidiary
Customer Loyalty Solutions Sdn Bhd (CLS) wants to expand its
business process outsourcing business (BPO) by venturing
into the transportation and telecommunications sectors as
well as overseas.
CLS general manager Ooi Hooi Cheng said it had identified
the two sectors as the areas for growth. "We are in
talks with potential clients on how we see opportunities in
their industries."
She said CLS hoped to grow it customer base to about 30
companies by the end of next year from more than 20 now in
the financial, retail and fast-moving consumer goods
segments.
CLS offers total integrated and modular loyalty programmes,
backed by AIM's proprietary AIMS technology, to clients such
as AmBank Group, L'Oreal, MyDin and Caltex.
She said CLS would explore more opportunities abroad
following the recent signing of several letters of intent
with companies in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia to
form strategic partnerships.
Ooi said those partnerships would allow the company to
leverage on its potential partners' expertise and experience
as well as to venture into newer markets.
"We target to complete these alliances by the first
quarter of next year. The main initial focus will be on our
loyalty payment mechanisms, our strategic consultancy and
our AIMS technology that we can export to those countries.
This will be especially true in Indonesia, which does not
have the experience nor the technology that we can
provide."
Ooi said CLS could also leverage on AIM's plan to expand
into markets like Thailand, India and Singapore.
CLS receives its technological support from AIM, which
specialises in research and development primarily in the
enterprise marketing management solutions in loyalty
management.
Broadly, as a BPO solution provider, AIM offers a broad
spectrum of loyalty management services from consultation,
